Josh Jacobs won the SEC Title with Alabama in both 2016 and 2018 who is an an American football running back for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL. In his sophomore year, Jacobs took on a larger role in the Alabama offense, rushing for 284 yards and one touchdown on 46 carries.
It was in his junior season that he truly proved his skills, becoming the lead back for the Crimson Tide. Jacobs finished the 2018 season with an impressive 640 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns proving his status as one of the top running backs in college football.

Jacobs was homeless in middle school. He would often sleep in parks or vacant buildings, struggling to find shelter. He remained passionate to succeed academically. He would spend several days studying at the local library using any available material to further his education.
His parents details are not known. But, he comes from Filipinos heritage who is ancestors of the vast majority of the population were of Malay descent and came from the Southeast Asian mainland as well as from what is now Indonesia.
His Filipino descent via Angeles City through his paternal grandmother, and has a portrait of her tattooed on his left hand.

Josh Jacobs' younger brother, Isaiah Jacobs, is a running back for the UAB Blazers. The Raiders placed the franchise tag on Jacobs, on March 6, 2023. Jacobs and the Raiders agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million, August 26, 2023.
