Besides his cricketing career, Shah is also a successful businessman and currently holds the position of honorary secretary at the Saurashtra Cricket Association.

Shah is the honorary secretary of the Saurashtra Cricket Association, which means he helps run the organization. The first ever One Day International (ODI) game at this venue was played between India and England. Additionally, there have been two Test matches held here as well.
