RRB Technician Recruitment 2024
Indian Railways have officially released a notification for the recruitment of Technicians. This was done by the RRBs on 12th February 2024. If you're interested and meet the eligibility criteria, you should know that the application form will be available for around four weeks, maybe even longer, starting from 9th March and ending on 8th April 2024. To apply online, you'll need to provide all the necessary details, upload some documents, pay a fee, and then submit your application form.
RRB Technician Eligibility 2024
To apply for the Technician position, you need to have passed the Matriculation exam. Also, you must hold an ITI Trade certificate from NCVT/SCVT in the relevant discipline. Alternatively, you can also apply if you have pursued a Diploma or Degree in Engineering. Lastly, your age should be between 18 and 28 years old.
RRB Technician Exam Date 2024
The Railway Recruitment Board has not yet announced the official date for the Technician post exam. However, there is a possibility that it might be conducted in July 2024. The exam will be taken online through a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will last for 1 hour. It will be held at different examination centers throughout the country.
RRB Technician Application Fee 2024
If you want to apply for a Technician post in Indian Railways and you belong to the General, Other Backward Class, or Economically Weaker Section, you will need to pay ₹500 as an application fee online. However, if you are a woman or belong to Schedule Tribe, Scheduled Caste, or any other reserved categories, the application fee is only Rs 250.
RRB Technician Selection Process 2024
To apply for the post of Technician in Indian Railways, there are four stages in the selection process. These stages are as follows: initial computer-based test, second stage computer-based test, document verification, and medical examination. It is important for candidates to successfully pass each stage in order to be considered for the position.

Steps to apply for Railway Technician Recruitment 2024
To apply for the Technician 2024 recruitment, you need to visit the website of the relevant RRB. Once there, you should find an option that says 'Apply Online - Recruitment of Technician 2024' and click on it.
Follow the instructions to complete the registration process and create a login using your email address and password.
Then, provide your basic and educational qualifications, and upload necessary documents along with your photographs and signatures.
Pay the required fee before reviewing all the information entered. Finally, submit your application form.
