She is a member of the famous Afridi family, with her father being the well-known cricketer Shahid Afridi and her mother named Nadia Afridi. She has an elder sister, Aqsa Afridi, and three younger sisters named Arwa, Asmara, and Ajwa. She is 21 years old.

Shahid Afridi book Game changer sparked controversy
In 2019, Afridi caused a lot of dissatisfaction with the remarks he made about his daughters participating in outdoor sports. The former Pakistan captain admitted that he had prevented his daughters from playing cricket or any sport because of 'social and religious reasons'.
Afridi expressed in his book, Game Changer, that feminists are free to voice their opinions on his decision regarding his daughters' participation in sports. He specified that while they can play indoor games, he does not allow them to compete in public sporting events like cricket.
