Educational Qualification
To apply for the Gujarat Police Bharti 2024 online, candidates need to make sure they have completed the necessary educational qualifications from recognized universities or boards.
For the position of Constable, applicants must have finished their senior secondary/ 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit
In order to apply for Constable and Sub Inspector positions with the Gujarat Police Bharti, candidates must meet specific age requirements. The minimum age for Constable positions is 18 years, while for Sub Inspector positions it is 20 years. The maximum age limit for both positions is 33 years. OBC candidates are eligible for a 3-year age relaxation, while SC and ST categories are eligible for a 5-year age relaxation.
Selection Process
The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board will be conducting a three stage recruitment test for Constable and sub-inspector positions. The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Written Exam, and Medical Examination. Candidates must pass the Physical Test in order to proceed to the written exam.
Exam Pattern
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a test that measures a candidate's physical ability to perform tasks required for certain jobs. In the case of the Gujarat Police Bharti 2024 recruitment, the PET includes a running test within specified time periods. For male candidates, they must complete a 5000 meter run in 25 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 1600 meter run in 9 minutes and 30 seconds, while ex-service men must complete a 2400 meter run in 12 minutes.
For the Gujarat Police written exam pattern in 2024, the test will consist of 200 objective type multiple choice questions. Each question carries one mark, making a total of 200 marks for the entire exam. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Test takers will have three hours to complete the exam.
