Mohsin Khan was born on October 26, 1991 in Nadiad, Gujarat. He is the son of Abdul Waheed and Mehzabeen Khan. He grew up with his two siblings, Zeba Ahmed and Sajjad Khan, in Nadiad where he spent his childhood. Mohsin was a quiet, studious child. He topped his class in applied electronics and received an 80% in engineering. He is 32 years old. While in college, he began writing stories, creating short films, and directing them. His height is 5 feet 9 inches.
He started his career from advertisement
At the age of 18, Mohsin appeared in a Ceat Tyres advertisement on television for which he recieved Rs 10,000. He then worked as a second assistant director in the Bollywood film 'Koyelanchaal' in 2014 before making his acting debut as 'Jignesh' in UTV Bindass' show "Love by Chance." He later had a small role in the serial "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" and played 'Ritesh' in Star Plus' serial "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins."
In 2016, Mohsin became well-known for his portrayal of 'Kartik Goenka' on the popular TV series "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai." He has also been featured in music videos such as Baarish (2020) and Woh Chaand Kahan Se Laogi (2020). Mohsin has appeared in advertisements for well-known brands such as Limca, Safari, Apollo Hospital, and Micromax Mobile. His net worth is estimated to be around 2.5 crores.
His Awards
In November 2019, there were rumors that Mohsin had refused to share the vanity with Shivangi Joshi after their breakup. However, he later clarified that this was not true. Mohsin has won several awards for his acting, including the Kalakar Award for Best Actor in 2018 and Gold Awards for Best Onscreen Jodi with Shivangi Joshi in 2018 and Best Actor Male (Popular) in 2019.
