Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38 years. General category candidates may receive age relaxation as per government regulations. The minimum age requirement is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 38 years for all applicants.
Selection Process
Candidates must go through three stages of the selection process. First, they must pass the preliminary exam, then the mains exam, and finally certification verification. Only those who perform well throughout all stages will be chosen for the position.
Salary
The salary for candidates appointed is based on the pay scale for Junior Engineer and Junior Motor Vehicle, which is at Pay Level 9. For the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), the salary ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 and for Junior Motor Vehicle, it is the same salary range.
Exam Pattern
Candidates must thoroughly understand and follow the exam pattern for both the Prelims and Mains. The Prelims will cover subjects like Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, and Current Events with a total of 150 marks to be completed in 150 minutes. The Mains will consist of a written Technical Paper worth 200 marks to be completed in 180 minutes. It is important for candidates to prepare accordingly for this objective type computer-based recruitment examination in order to perform well.
Steps to Apply for OSSC CTSRE Recruitment 2024 for 381 Vacancies
To apply online for OSSC CTSRE Recruitment 2024, candidates should first visit the official website of Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) at www.ossc.gov.in.
Once on the homepage, they should click on Apply Online which will take them to a new page.
From there, they can choose between being a Registered User or New User to apply for the Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination (CTS)-2023.
Candidates need to provide their email ID and cell phone number. They must also submit their signature and left thumb impression in JPG format within the specified range. They need to enter details from their 10th certificate and Aadhar Card Number, as well as any caste certificate information.
