Her father, Anil Thadani, works as a film distributor and her mother, Raveena Tandon, is a renowned Bollywood actress. Rasha's younger brother is Ranbirvardhan Thadani. Both her maternal grandfather, Ravi Tandon, and paternal grandfather, Kundan Thadani, had careers in the film industry. Also, Raveena adopted daughters Pooja and Chaya in 1995.
