Trisha Krishnan is a famous Indian model and actress who has made a name for herself in both the South Indian Film Industry and Bollywood. She was born on May 4, 1983 in Chennai to Tamil Brahmin Family. Her parents are Krishnan Iyer and Uma Iyer. Her fathe, died in October 2012, was a General Manager at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad. Trisha Krishnan began her career as a model in 1998 while she was still in college. She featured in numerous TV and print ads before winning the Miss Salem beauty pageant in 1999. In 2017, Trisha found herself caught in a heated controversy surrounding the traditional South Indian festival of Jallikattu. As a supporter of PETA and their mission to end animal cruelty, she voiced her opposition to the festival. Unfortunately, her stance led to severe backlash and criticism, ultimately prompting her to delete her tweet and deactivate her Twitter account.

On 28 November 2023, Mansoor Ali Khan, an actor and politician, revealed his intention to take legal action against Trisha Krishnan by filing a defamation case. This decision came after Mansoor faced backlash for making inappropriate and sexist comments towards Trisha during a press conference.
